Soul of the Crow: #bookreview

In Soul of the Crow: Reapers of Veltuur by Jessaca Willis, the King of Oakfall requests that a reaper execute his own daughter, Gem. It is easy to imagine that the underworld in the book is the stuff of nightmares. I picture it as something similar to the underworld of Greek mythology — everything is on fire, darkness for eternity, and creepy trees.

The Prince of Oakfall, Acari, finds out about his father’s plan to murder Gem. So he takes Gem on the run in order to keep her safe.
