What Happened at Sisters Creek: #bookreview
If you are like me, you remember watching “Thriller” or “Poltergeist” and being scared to a certain degree. Heck, even as an adult I’m still too scared to watch “Poltergeist” again.
Anyway, so if you are looking for a creepy, scary book to read, then check out What Happened at Sisters Creek by Lee Anderson.
It begins innocently enough with a pregnant woman in northern Florida trying to survive. Survival comes at a cost sometimes which she soon found out. Fast forward to twenty or so years in the future, people are being killed near Sisters Creek. The police think it could be either an animal attack or a pair of escaped convicts. I won’t give away too much but they could not have guessed what or who the real killer was.
The sheriff goes on a hunt to find the first search party and any clues. He brings along a forest ranger, another police officer, a survivalist/veteran and a reporter.
Almost all of them are out of their regular element with what they are up against. Honestly, it never hurts to learn survival and combat skills. What if Bigfoot is a cannibal?! Not all forest creatures are looking for friendship — they are trying to survive too. Bigfoot might not want to be your friend.
The characters in the search party definitely learn what they are made of by the end…
